FRAME HARDWARE

Frames	The 830 series offers a sturdy, full frame look, with standard 1-1/2 thick triple pane- or  optional 1-1/4” thick double pane- insulated glass. The air spaces between glass accommodate either 5/8” wide flat colonial or 1” wide sculptured internal grids. The 830 is designed to deliver superior thermal efficiency, weather resistance, sound dampening, and large size window openings compared to conventional double pane windows.   Double, high pile, fin-seal weatherstrip on moving ventilators assures very low air infiltration at all seals (< .05 cfm/ft). Welded frame corners and large internal drainage cavities provide superior resistance to wind driven rain (no leakage at a rate of 8” per hour blown at 60 mph). Horizontal slider and single hung vents glide on double rollers and double string balances to assure trouble free operation.
	The 830 series is designed in a nail fin configuration for new construction and replacement window applications. Hardware	The Mercer 830 Window features a low profile, spring-loaded, pullback lock. It is both attractive and strong, exceeding strict forced entry resistance testing.
	The 830 series comes standard with a positive action lock, that automatically engages when shut.
