  820 Series

820 series windows are designed with a wider full frame look and stronger weather in mind. Equal glass sightlines present a balanced look between window vents. Available as custom picture windows, sliders, single hung windows or in combinations. Engineered for strength and efficiency and optimum weather performance.


•  The 820 offers a wider, deeper “full” frame traditional window look.
•  Frames are 3-1/4” deep, with a beveled exterior face.
•  Recessed 3/4” thick double pane glass.
•  Mitered corners, and matching color drain hole covers.
•  Slider vents glide on adjustable steel axle nylon rollers on a durable vinyl track.
•  Standard Mercer Crescent latch automatically locks when the vent is closed.
•  Equal glass sight line is built into the frame–no drop in panels or adapters.
•  Wind resistance rating is 134 mph

Frames

The 820 series has a wider frame and profile detailing. Designed in a variety of frame structures to maximum window efficiency and ease of installation for different types of structures, installations and applications. Replacement windows are easy to configure. Many can be inset into the frame of an existing window without disturbing the stucco or siding.
   
 
 

Standard nail fin slider window for new construction. Fin is 1-1/4" long and is set back 1-7/16" from exterior face. Distance from edge of frame to glass sight line is 2-3/4". Center mullion is also 2-3/4" wide. Equal width frame and mullion members provide a perfectly balanced frame and glass look.

Artisan™ stucco fin slider or single hung window can be inset against blind stops of existing wood windows without disturbing the surrounding frame. Can be inset into the frame of existing steel or aluminum windows without disturbing exterior stucco or siding. 1-3/4” long double wall fin covers most existing frames.

Hardware

The 820 Series comes standard with the heavy duty spring loaded Mercer Cresent latch.The Mercer Crescent latch automatically locks when vent is closed.
   
 
     
 

Two-position spring-loaded handle holds down when the lock is disengaged, pops back up when the lock is engaged, and confirms visually when the window is locked.
